The population in Sweden is ageing. In fact, more than five per cent of the population is over the age of eighty. An ageing population means a risk of spiralling costs in nursing and care. Add to this that the way of life and lifestyles are changing and that the demands on the care sector are growing. Altogether this puts greater strain on, and thereby increases the costs of, activities within the care sector – but there are solutions!
